Practical Support, Real Understanding

1:1 Coaching for Adults with ADHD

Coaching is about ‘change’—making changes in your life can enable you to thrive and feel fulfilled, which will, in turn, positively impact your health and well-being.

Coaching can help you to:

  • understand ADHD
  • explore and accept your version of ADHD
  • unlock your strengths
  • identify personal goals and generate bespoke strategies to move you forward
  • stop unhelpful behaviour patterns by developing new helpful ones
  • be assertive and set boundaries

Our sessions will be via Zoom. If you prefer face-to-face, I am happy to consider this option if logistics allow. Travel time and costs will be charged.

Coaching can support you in changing and growing in any area of your life.

Change is not easy; it can feel uncomfortable—it takes work! Having a coach by your side assists you in pushing through the hard bits and staying on track. Specialist coaching will keep your ADHD at the centre to ensure that whatever you choose compliments your unique profile.

Coaching Rooted in Experience and Empathy

Coaching Rooted in Experience and Empathy

I started this because I saw a huge gap. After an ADHD diagnosis, there’s often nothing—no follow-up, no guidance—just a report and maybe a prescription. I wanted to be the support I never had, to create a service that truly understands what it’s like to live with ADHD every day.

I know the frustration, the loneliness, and the constant questioning of “why can’t I just figure this out?” I’ve been there—as a parent advocating for my children when no one seemed to listen, and as someone who had to dig deep to find the answers others couldn’t provide. I was staggered by the lack of compassion and understanding about neuro-difference. People I thought would know about ADHD – just didn’t!

I have spent years learning from my own experience, training with the best, and working with others who felt isolated and stuck. I’m here to help you explore your version of ADHD. Together, we’ll uncover what works for you and create a path that feels true to who you are.

I bring more than professional training to the table. I share a lived experience, empathy, and a fierce belief that ADHD isn’t a flaw—it’s a difference.

You’re not broken, and you’re not alone.

How Coaching Has Made a Difference

Claire puts you at ease. No judgement or unrealistic expectations. I have been coached before but they did not get ADHD. Claire ‘gets’ it and that has made all the difference. This coaching is working for me!

H.I.

Coaching has helped me to find my own ways to emotionally regulate in certain situations but what has been most valuable is that because of coaching I am kinder to myself when I get dysregulated. I am also doing more to look after my emotional state.

J.B.

I come to coaching sessions overwhelmed. When Claire asks me some questions and I say things out loud, it all becomes clear. I know where to start and I can get moving.

Commonly Asked Questions

No, that’s not necessary. I work specifically with individuals who have a suspected or confirmed ADHD diagnosis.

ADHD Coaching addresses the specific needs and aspirations of the individual being coached. Unlike other forms of coaching, however, ADHD Coaching also addresses the specific needs of clients who have ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms. It is a supportive, collaborative, goal-oriented process.

Because ADHD Coaching specifically addresses the needs of people affected by ADHD, it is a seamless blend of three distinct elements, Coaching, Skills Coaching and ADHD Education each employed by the coach as needed.

To start, I recommend booking 3 sessions as an introduction to coaching. This gives us time to get to know each other and see if coaching feels right for you. After that, you can decide if you’d like to continue, and we’ll work together to find a schedule that fits your needs and budget.

Some people prefer a block of sessions to tackle a specific challenge or situation, while others enjoy having regular check-ins to navigate the day-to-day. Whatever works best for you, we’ll tailor it to suit your circumstance.

I work with adults (18 and over) and occasionally with younger individuals who are living independently.

While I don’t coach children, I bring years of experience in ADHD family support and offer tailored coaching and consultancy for parents of children with ADHD. If you’re curious about parent coaching, let’s book a time to chat.

Most of my sessions are held virtually, making it easy to connect wherever you are. I’m based in Hertfordshire, UK, and I’m happy to consider home visits for local clients when possible (with travel time and costs covered).

I work with clients throughout the UK and recently from the following areas:

Harpenden
St Albans
Wheathampsted
Welwyn Garden City
Hitchin
Berkhampstead
Tring
